BBF donates Rigger boots to uMkhuze

BBF Safety Group (BBF), the largest manufacturer of safety footwear in Southern Africa, proudly contribute to a number of social responsibility projects on an annual basis and donated 55 pairs of Rigger boots to the staff of uMkhuze Game Reserve late last year.

The generous donation valued at over R40 000 was gratefully accepted by Clive Dickinson, Honorary uMkhuze Officer and distributed to the delighted field rangers and support staff.

Vanessa Ronald, BBF Senior Brand Manager, explained that they feel privileged to be in a position where they are able to positively contribute towards making a difference within our community.

uMkhuze Conservation Manager, Eduard Goosen, explains that there is an increased focus on the actions of field rangers who protect the rhinos in the veld. “The team work incredibly hard in the fight against rhino poaching and we are extremely grateful for the much-needed donation of Rigger boots. BBF’s support makes it possible for our staff to operate as efficiently as possible.”

Vanessa Ronald adds that BBF are proud to support the uMkhuze Game Reserve staff and the wonderful work that they do. “We share their dedication and commitment to protecting our beloved rhino.”
